“Let Your Light Shine”

What a week it was!  Deep Impact Grifton Week One was a great week of letting the light of Christ shine in 4 counties and 7 towns in Eastern North Carolina.  We saw a neighborhood block transformed in just 5 days.  Over 150 children heard the Gospel in  Bible Clubs and in Sports Camps.  And one big baseball field got one nice paint scheme with the love of Christ painted all over it in many different colors.  But most importantly we saw lives changed for all of eternity simply by being willing to let the love of Christ shine through us.  Take time to share your favorite moment from Deep Impact Grifton Week One and remember to keep letting your light shine so other may see your good deeds and give praise to your Father in heaven.

“You Will Be My Witnesses”

In Acts 1:8 Jesus said, “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” A witness is someone who has a story to tell. The story we seek to tell as followers of Christ is that there is an assured hope for all of eternity available in Christ. This spring and summer many of you will be a part of sharing that great message of hope in so many ways and in so many places. This blog has been designed for you to tell how God is working in your lives and in the lives of the people you will become witnesses to on the mission field. It is my hope that through your stories, other teenagers across our state will be inspired to tell their story in their Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the ends of the earth.
